Microsoft 365 Copilot
What is Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Microsoft’s M365 Copilot, Microsoft’s AI companion for the M365 productivity suite, seamlessly integrates across Microsoft’s various applications and experiences, including Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Edge, and Bing. Copilot provides users with AI assistance in numerous aspects of their work within Microsoft applications.
When using Microsoft 365, applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams will incorporate Copilot to enhance productivity. This includes tasks like generating text and tables in Word, summarising emails in Outlook, and creating Python visualisations in Excel.

What versions of Microsoft Copilot are available?
It’s important to emphasise that, whilst M365 Copilot is very much capturing the limelight, this is just one of a range of Copilots Microsoft is introducing across its extensive portfolio. Fundamentally these all align with one wider goal: to empower users with Natural Language Recognition, reducing or even removing mundane work whilst also mitigating the dependency on extensive skilling these products require to fully utilise their extensive capabilities.
Today these broadly fall into 6 categories (Microsoft have teased there’s more in the works), we’ll look at these a little closer below.
Microsoft Copilot for Web
Copilots for Productivity (M365 Copilot)
Microsoft Copilot for Business (Dynamics Copilot)
Microsoft Copilot for Analytics (Fabric Copilot)
Microsoft Copilot for Security (Security Copilot)
Microsoft Copilot for Development (GitHub Copilot)
Microsoft Copilot: Pricing
