Our Services

We’re working with our customers to help them achieve their sustainability goals by reducing their reliance on physical services and transitioning them onto the cloud.

In using automation, we can speed up processes, saving energy. Additionally, we help our customer base reduce its reliance on energy-expensive physical servers by moving towards cloud technologies, which use energy in a more streamlined and efficient way than traditional, energy-intensive in-house data centres.

Our Environment

At Ultima, we’re passionate about supporting the local community alongside taking care of the wider environment through responsible practices. As part of this, we have invited employees to make an Eco Pledge, whether this be cycling instead of driving, growing their food, or avoiding single-use plastic.

We participate in the Cycle2Work scheme, which provides employees with significant savings on the cost of a bicycle, encouraging them to use this mode of transport rather than drive and helping reduce the UK’s carbon footprint. 

We operate a paperless office and have a ‘reduce plastics’ policy. To reduce the consumption of single-use plastic, we provide employees with a pack including a reusable water bottle, coffee cup and lunchbox.  We do not supply any disposable plastic, such as cutlery or cups.

We have embedded a green culture throughout our organisation by aligning the interests of our employees, customers, community and the environment to become a sustainable organisation and create a positive impact for future generations.

Our Partners

Our key technology partners are also driving positive change in operating a circular economy approach where every product is designed to be reused, reduced and recycled. Such as Cisco Refresh, to enable customers to purchase remanufactured products.

In partnership with the Microsoft Partner Pledge and HP Amplify Impact, we will drive meaningful change across the IT industry.

Our carbon commitment

We report on our carbon emissions in compliance with Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR). This covers our energy use, electricity and transport, and information relating to energy efficiency actions.

Using 2019 as our base year, we pledge to follow a carbon emissions pathway of reducing our carbon to net zero by 2035 across all parts of the business. Our Carbon Reduction Plan is on our website.

Ultima’s Ecologi Partnership

We’ve partnered with Ecologi working in collaboration with The Eden Reforestation Projects. Ecologi plants millions of trees worldwide each month to combat climate change.
