Intune for Frontline Workers
Effective August 1, 2024, Microsoft has expanded its Microsoft Intune offerings to include Frontline Worker products within the Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA). This update brings additional capabilities to organisations using Intune, enhancing their device management and security solutions.
Copilot for Sales and Service licensing
Microsoft have expended the list of licensing prerequisites for Copilot for Sales and Copilot for Service, adding in Microsoft 365 F1/F3, Microsoft 365 Business Basic, and Office 365 F3/E1. This is on top of M365 and O365.
Microsoft Sentinel
Microsoft announce that Microsoft Sentinel is now generally available in the Microsoft Defender portal as part of the unified security operations platform.
Dynamics 365 price increases
Microsoft announce that there will be price increases to the Dynamics products from 1st October, 2024 affecting both cloud versions and on-premises. The increases range from 10.53% for the CRM Enterprise licences to 16.67% for the ERP Enterprise licences, with an increase of $15 for all tiers for Microsoft Relationship Sales licences. Pricing for Dynamics 365 Business Central remains unchanged. The increases apply globally for all new customers, and for existing customers on their next renewal after 1st October, 2024. Retirement of Power BI Premium capacity
Microsoft announced that Power BI Premium capacity SKUs (P-SKUs) will be retired in place of Fabric capacity. New customers must purchase the P-SKUs, existing customers can renew their existing subscriptions until 1st January, 2025 and (if required) purchase more capacity until the end of the subscription term. There are no changes to Power BI Pro or Power BI Premium Per User licensing. Find the announcement here.
